Motiva 425cc over the muscle implants

WORTH IT$5,000
I started with a 34b after having 2 children and breastfeeding. I felt deflated and I wasn’t happy with my breasts at all. As I’m only 25 I decided a breast augmentation was the best way forward for me. I booked my consultation for 26th January 2018 and I booked my surgery a few days later for 1.3.2018!

How did you manage at home with your little ones after surgery?
March 6, 2018
Honestly it’s not been too bad, I’m not in too much pain to be honest, I’m more tired then anything so trying to grab naps when I can. the hardest part is when my youngest wants to be picked up and cuddled because I’m worried about doing damage to my implants x

Are you able to your little ones at all yet (was your surgery on 1 march)? My kids are 3yrs and the other 18months. My husband can be around for the first 3 days after surgery but then I'm going to need to be on my own with my kids for 7 hours a day - will I manage? Are you still in pain and sore? How much can you move? X

Yes my surgery was March 1st. My husband was home for 3 days also, in terms of picking up the kids, I’d say try not too to early on as it will be uncomfortable but it’s easier if you sit on the floor and get them in position and then stand up with them on you instead of attempting to lift them up to you using your arms/chest (hope this makes sense, it’s much easier to explain in person) I’m in little to no pain to be honest, nipples are extra sensitive today but that’s my only complaint. I can lift arms as normal, brush my hair etc and I drove for the first time yesterday. I don’t find things painful, I just find I get out of breath very easily so make sure if you do have a busy day with the little ones, have a rest once hubby is home so you don’t get too worn out! xx

Sounds like you're coping really well. Is the pain similar to when your milk dries up after breast feeding or mastitis? Just trying to get an idea. How old are your little ones? Mine are 3 and 18 months so guess we can do a lot of play on the floor and even eat picnic style during the day then daddy can do highchair duty on evening. There's always a way... ha. Is the implant sitting very high at the moment as you're only a week in? Are you wearing sports bra and strap? X

The pain is like when your milk comes in and you’re all swollen and engorged. They just feel heavy. Mine are 10&4 so olden then yours but my 4 year old is very clingy. I look after my god daughter too who is nearly 13 months. we defo did lunch on the floor on Monday! I added a photo onto my review of 24 hours after if you wanted to take a look at how they’re sitting and I am wearing a ‘macom’ post surgery bra x

I saw you photos. You look really well and so pleased after your surgery. I really appreciate your replies. I'm very nervous and recovery and managing with the kids. My implants would need to go under the muscle which is the only difference xx
March 7, 2018
when is your surgery? I’ve heard under the muscle is slightly more painful and a slightly longer recovery but you’ll make it work! There would never be a right time to get them if we factored in everything we have to do as women! lol. just take it really easy and for the 3 days your husband is at home, take complete advantage. Stock up on bendy straws and take some Vaseline with you (my lips were so dry after surgery) and I didn’t take any with me! any other questions just ask away! I’m happy to help where I can! x
March 7, 2018
Ah thanks Debbie. I agree haha. I'm not booked in, just had my consultation and keen to book in on 31st March but my mam and sister are trying to talk me out of it. If I don't do now I'll need to wait until October time which seems like ages away! X

I had my consultation and I either had to book for March or July due to holidays etc and I’m so glad I went with March! it’s hard when people don’t agree but your doing it for you, not for them and they won’t love you any less if you go ahead! they may be a little apprehensive at the start but they’ll just have to get used to it! do it for you! The only thing in life we regret is the chances we didn’t take! x
March 7, 2018
I agree whole heartedly. I desperately want mine doing. Just need to choose a time when i know I'll have support for 2 weeks and at least 4 -6 weeks of nothing in the diary in terms of nights out/holidays so I can stay home and recover. You must be so glad you bit the bullet and did it. How have you been today? You managing any sleep in the night?
March 7, 2018
I really am! Best decision I’ve ever made for myself! I’ve been okay today, I have my one week check tomorrow morning and can’t wait to get the go ahead to have a shower! are you in the uk? and sleeping is fine once I’ve got myself comfortable. I bought a wedge pillow (£15ish on Amazon) and a v pillow (£10ish on Amazon) and they’ve really helped x
March 7, 2018
Yes I'm in the UK, Northeast. Your story is making me want mine doing now, but I'm just worried I don't have the support I need at home for the first 2 weeks, only first 3 days which isn't going to be enough. Devastated im going to prob need to wait. Best of luck with your appointment tomorrow. X
March 7, 2018
Honestly I think you’d be okay, I can’t say your recovery would be the same as mine as placement of implants is obviously different but I honestly think it would be okay. Plan some floor activities for the little ones and meal prep. thank you! keep me updated on your journey! would love to see you do an update one day soon! x
March 7, 2018
Thanks so much. I'd like to think I'd be okay. I'll never know until I take the plunge. I will do. Loiking forward to hearing more from you and how you're getting along. Xx

What made you choose over the muscle? Everyone seems to strongly advise under the muscle or dual-plane these days. I REALLY don't want any animation deformity, but i can't seem to convince y surgeon that over the muscle is worth it for me.

Thanks for your story. Do you mind sharing your height?

Day of surgery

debbielb92
My admission time was 7am, we were shown to my room around 7.20 and as I was a day case I was told I was first on the list for surgery. I was so happy as that didn’t leave too much time for me to panic, that and I was starving after being starving since midnight. The relevant people came to see me, the surgeon came and asked if I was still happy with the implants we’d chose (425cc motiva in ‘full’ profile) then he marked me up and I was told someone would come to collect me shortly. About 30 minutes later I was collected and walked to theatre. The atmosphere was really relaxing (as relaxing as an operating theatre can be) they were playing mambo number 5 and chatting away to me and making me feel really at ease. Initially when they put the anaesthetic in I felt really horrible, almost like I was leaving my body but I didn’t have much time to worry as I was out of it after less then a minute. I woke up in recovery at 9.40am (about 40 minutes after arriving at the theatre) my throat was very dry and scratchy but very minimum pain in my chest so I was pleasantly surprised! I was discharged from the hospital at 3.30pm. I had little to no pain all day, my worst complaint was the sore throat and extreme nausea, however this was managed by an anti nausea tablet and a good hours nap. When I returned home I set my self up on my wedge pillow, I found this isn’t the most comfortable for my neck and shoulders but it’ll be worth it for some nice boobies!

I must admit I was a little bit terrified to look at my new boobies as I was scared of ‘frankenboob’ or that I’d end up with some kind of horror story deformed boobs however I was pleasantly surprised when I took my first look!
