Disappointing Results

I wanted to give an honest review after waiting six months to evaluate my results.

I contacted Clinic Wise in January 2024 to inquire about a BBL and 360 liposuction. I was quoted £4900 for the procedure, with an additional £1000 for skin tightening using J-Plasma. My main concern before surgery was my protruding stomach, out-of-shape butt, and hip dips. Apart from that, I was happy with my body weight and size (14-16) for my height (5’8”).

Although the price was on the high side, I chose Dr. Ersin because of his good reviews on RealSelf and Google. I wanted a safe BBL and trusted his expertise, so I paid a £500 deposit and booked my procedure.

Upon arriving at Istanbul airport, I easily found my transfer, and a lovely girl greeted us (me and my friend) along with a cameraman, though I opted out of filming. I was driven straight to the hospital for pre-op tests, which went smoothly, and then checked into the Antwell Hotel, a clean and comfortable place about 15 minutes away.

Surgery Day (May 2024):
An hour before surgery, Dr. Ersin met with me. He seemed caring, knowledgeable, and polite. He explained how he would remove the fat and that I had internal fat, emphasizing that a good diet and exercise would improve my results. After marking me for surgery, I felt confident in his approach.

During the consultation, I also mentioned my old breast implants, which were sagging and needed to be replaced. He suggested an uplift with new implants at a later date, and I was happy he saw my breasts in person rather than relying on a Zoom consultation.

Post-Surgery:
After the BBL, 360 liposuction, and J-Plasma, I woke up in intense pain, particularly in my stomach. I was freezing and in agony, but the nurses quickly administered painkillers that helped. I was surprised to wake up lying on my back, concerned it would affect my BBL results. The nurses reassured me through Google Translate, as none of them spoke English.

I couldn’t see my results due to the tight compression garment I was wearing, but my immediate concern was the pain and discomfort. The next day, Dr. Ersin informed me he had removed 5300 liters of fat and stressed that diet and exercise were crucial for optimal results. He also recommended 10 lymphatic drainage massages.

After one night in the hospital, I was eager to return to the hotel, where I could eat better food and focus on recovery. At the hotel, I noticed severe swelling, especially in my stomach, which looked six months pregnant. This was not something I had anticipated, as it wasn’t widely mentioned in my research. My butt appeared round but was also swollen.

Three days post-op, I noticed a flat dent on my left thigh and panicked. My coordinator arranged for me to see Dr. Ersin before my flight back to London. He assured me that it was normal and would improve with time and massages. Feeling reassured, I flew home.

Recovery in London:
My recovery was an emotional rollercoaster. I was swollen for weeks, and my stomach initially looked worse than before. The back pain from the liposuction was intense, but I stuck with the lymphatic massages, hoping for the best. Despite following all the instructions, I was disappointed with my results. The fat didn’t survive, my stomach remained large, and my hip dips returned, particularly on the left side.

Compared to others who had a BBL, my results were underwhelming. Despite this, my coordinator kept reassuring me that it was too early to see final results and that I needed to wait 6 months to a year.

Before my second surgery, I contacted my coordinator to arrange a Zoom call with Dr. Ersin to express my concerns and request a revision. He insisted my situation was normal but said a revision would cost an additional £3000 on top of the £4900 I had already paid for my upcoming breast surgery in October. I couldn’t afford it, which was disheartening.

October 2024 (Second Surgery):
I had booked my second surgery with Dr. Ersin for a breast uplift and implant removal on October 7th, 2024, paying a £500 deposit. Even though I was unhappy with my BBL results, I proceeded with the surgery, partly because I was familiar with the process and had already paid.

When I woke up from the breast surgery, I was horrified. My breasts were much smaller than I had requested, and the scars were awful. My nipples were misaligned, and there was sagging skin. I immediately contacted my coordinator, distressed and upset. The next morning, Dr. Ersin saw me and insisted that breast size was determined by my body, not by him. He gave me two options: a refund or another surgery that day to correct the issue. I chose the second surgery.

After the revision, I ended up with 560cc implants, but the scars are horrendous. The incision runs from my armpit to mid-chest, and I wasn’t informed beforehand about the anchor technique he used. I’m now left with severe scarring and deep regret after spending £11,400 in total (not including the cost of massages), not to mention the £9000 my friend paid for her own botched procedures.

I’m writing this review to warn others. I regret not trusting my gut and feel like all the good reviews online may be fake. Unfortunately, my friend and I both had poor results, despite all the supposed success stories.

Please think twice and do thorough research before choosing this surgeon.
