Arm lift and thigh lift botched - I have been left disfigured

Arm Lift and Thigh Lift Botched

ferrari2018
Avoid at all costs. I have been left disfigured for life, putting myself in the hands of someone I thought was a veteran of this industry. I have been left with horrific scarring and uneven, with excess skin still left. I have sag into my elbows and now looking for a surgeon to try and improve it.I cannot see myself wearing a t-shirt this year, until it is fixed and tell people if they see the scaring I was in an accident. Such an embarrassment. When I express my worry about the scarring and how it is uneven and skin was still very flabby, the doctor told me exercise will "fix it" he wiped his hands of the disfigurement.

I'm going to be honest here... your scars look a lot better than many, many arm lifts I've seen. It's just not a surgery where the scars disappear. I have an arm lift myself. Your scars are better than mine, and I'm pretty happy. Now, if you have unevenness, that's something else. Just don't eat your hopes up about the scars. They'll fade more over time anyway.

Hi, I've been thinking of getting arm lift in about month. Would you still get it done if you could choose once again? And may I know how long it took the scar to fade away? Thank you so much! Yon

I would absolutely do it again. Make sure you choose a doctor that does lipo along with the procedure. I had 7 inches taken off each arm and they look so much better, scars and all. I'll take smaller, tighter arms with scars than big bulky ones anytime. I wish I had done it sooner. The scars take a while to fade, but will never completely be invisible for 99% of people, but it's the trade off you have to consider. I'm not a year out and my scars are still pink and very visible, but I still feel it was worth it.

absolutely, but choose your surgeon wisely and do lots of research.

Thank you so much for showing your after pictures of arm lifting! It really really helps those people who consider to get the same procedure! Thank you! Yon

I'm so sorry that you feel botched. Unfortunately scars are a normal part of this procedure. I'm currently recovering from a breast lift and arm lift. To be honest I'm praying that my scars come out looking like yours. IMHO those scar lines look great.

Im so confused. What did you expect the scars to look like? Did they not warn you? Those scars look great for the type of procedure it is.

I am only 2 month’s post arm lift surgery and your scars are very similar to mine… I thought mine were good and I think that most look very similar to yours. Be patient the scars will fade but will not go away entirely.. it’s the price you pay. Personally I would prefer the scars over flabby bat wing arms any day lol.
