I'd like to understand this better, because it seems to me that the only reason it's not advised is because it hasn't been studied on pregnant women; but common sense tells me it's totally fine. 1) Hyaluronic acid is not toxic, in fact, it's naturally occurring in the body. 2) filler doesn't enter the blood stream, it's injected in one area and stays there, correct?
Hi. Is it possible for hyaluronic acid fillers to travel to other body parts through the blood system if injected into a vessel? I had restylane injected in my face without knowing I was pregnant. Would the filler cause a clot and stop in the heart before reaching the uterus is so? Or could the filler travel all the way down to the fetus without noticing? I cant notice anything unusual after my treatment.
I have 1.0 cc syringe of perlane for non-surgical nose job last week. We also plan to try to get pregnant again. I am not pregnant right now. But how long should I wait to be on the safe side? I had Juvederm ultra plus done on me about 10 months ago for the same purpose and it lasted around 6-9 months. I'm not sure if perlane would have the same longevity. Please advise. Thank you very much
Hello, Five months ago I received under eye injections after a double jaw surgery. Since then, I have what looks like a bag under my right eye and under both eyes there appears to be a slight blue coloration. Is there anything I can do to remove these naturally? If not, what is the best method for me to remove them? I am frustrated with the results. One thing to note is I am 20 weeks pregnant, so I am looking for a safe method for my baby as well.
I'm wondering if hyaluronic fillers can harm my unborn child? If so, how? From what I know about Restylane/Juvederm they are very natural and they stay in place in the area where they are injected. I have had treatment with Juvederm 3 times before, and I would really like to have another one on 1 ml while I'm pregnant. I know it's not recommended with any unecessary medications on pregnant women, but how could such fillers hurt my baby?
