It has been five years since my last treatment, which was a disaster. Two weeks of bruising, scabbing, and bleeding with no results to show for it. It was a Vbeam. I want more treatments because I can't have this get worse. I'm 31 and age is not going to help. I cannot have purpura like that again, however. Will sub-purpuric settings on a Vbeam Perfecta give me any results?
I had v beam laser yesterday for port wine stain and there's way too much bruising. My dermatologist told me it'll settle in few hours but it's the same causing much anxiety and worry. I want to know how long it will take to fade...(I'm out of the town, can't contact dermatologist these days)
This was a few years ago; there was scabbing and bleeding for a week and it took almost three weeks to completely heal. I have not had a treatment since. I was told at the time this was excessive but would like more input.
I have a rather large, patchy, flat pink PWS on my right leg. Problem is that the stain changes colour depending on the temperature and whether I am lying down or not. When I lie down it turns really pale that the doctor can't even see where the stain is. When I stand up the redness comes back. Especially with the added cooling mechanism of V-beam my doctor is using, the stain becomes so pale that I end up getting only a few shots even though half of my leg is covered by the stain. What can I do?
