If you would treat an area of skin between your cheek and mouth (i.e. for a scar) with deepfx CO2 laser. And the subsequent contraction and tightening would be too much, causing your cheek to be pulled down and look flat. Would this undesired effect be something permanent? Or would your skin and cheek eventually return to its pre-treatment state over time, when the effect of the laser wears off?
I am looking at having Infini and Deep FX done (seperate days, seperate clinics) and am wondering would it be more beneficial to do one or the other first, if so what should be done first. Also how long should i wait before having the other treatment done?
I have ice pick & boxcar scars. I was treated with Deep FX 3 months ago & am seeing good improvement. I don't want to compromise my progress with scar treatment. Unfortunately, I risked TCA Cross last year and ended up with deeper pits and additional scarring. Deep FX has reversed some of that damage. I have met with a few doctors who are recommending Total FX, Fraxel Repair or Mixto. I am getting conflicting opinions on when I should proceed with my second fractional CO2 laser treatment.
My esthetician treated me with Deep Fx about 2 months ago. Would it be okay to begin using Epiduo again, or will that inhibit my skin's healing? I used Epiduo in the past to control my comedonal acne. After getting Deep Fx, my esthetician sold me onto his Environ vitamin serums, but they have been ineffective in preventing my acne. I'd like to swap out the vitamin/retinoid serum for Epiduo. Or could I use both in conjunction? I'm 18 if that matters. Thanks!
I had very bad cystic acne on my face. I actually had deep CO2 Laser treatment in 1998. It helped about 25% to 30% but I still have a lot of unevenness and scarring, plus now I am aging. Will Deep FX help at all? If not, what else can I do to even out the scars?
It's been about 3 years since I gave birth. I'm 22 years old. The stretch marks are now white/silver stretch marks. They are my greatest insecurity. Is there any hope that this laser treatment might improve their appearance?
I'm a 29 year old Irish woman with pale skin. I have suffered with acne for about 17 years. I have huge pores and blackheads all over my face. Will this treatment shrink my pores, they are the worst on my face. Also I'm terrified that putting all that Vaseline on my face for days after the treatment will block my pores even more and cause even more blackheads. Is there a non pore blocking alternative to Vaseline? Please, please advise me. Many thanks. I will post pics once I do the treatment next month.
I am 39, have severe acne scars and a bad skin appearance with pigmentation, uneven tone etc. My dermatologist suggested the Deep FX saying the down time is about 3 days (much less than the Total FX which is around 7 to 10 days). Is it true, that the down time period is that short with Deep FX? Also, is it the best treatment for acne scars and skin tightening?
I just turned 50 and while I don't have any real wrinkles, over the years I have developed a hooded eye. It is as though my forehead has relaxed enough to make my upper eyelid disappear. Will Deep FX help to correct this? I have been looking for pictures of results and am having trouble finding patients that have had it done with a focus on the eyes.
