Thank you for your question. Deep FX works by stimulating the body to produce more collagen. Collagen is a protein that supports the underlying dermal structure to reverse signs of aging from the inside out. It does take time for this process to work, however. Most patients see optimal results about four to six months after their treatment. I would encourage you to spread treatments out at least this far so you can see full results from one session before scheduling another. That said, there are patients that achieve an optimal outcome after a series of two to three Deep FX procedures.
Because of the way Deep FX works, it does take time to see the results of your procedure. The device stimulates the body to produce additional collagen, which restores the connective tissue in the dermal structure and smooths and rejuvenates skin from the inside out. I would give your first treatment time to work before seeking another session. Your provider should be able to let you know when it is safe for another treatment based on how your skin heals from the first.
I recommend that patients wait at least six months before undergoing subsequent Deep FX treatments in order to see the most optimal results. Depending on the reason for undergoing the treatment, patients may require 2-3 sessions before noticing the full effects. Full effects usually take up to 12 months.
I would recommend waiting at least four to six months following an initial treatment with the Deep F/X before having another treatment. There is ongoing collagen remodeling and tightening that takes place for a few months following the treatment so you want to wait that long to see how much further treatment you may or may not need. For deeper wrinkles (particularly those around the mouth) or for acne scars, it is not unusual to need more than one treatment.
Collagen stimulation is maximal at 4-6, and hence repeat fractional laser treatments can compound on this neo-collagenesis ( scar and or collagen repair). This time frame is good as it will also allow any skin colour changes to settle- redness in fair skin patients, darkness in darker skin patients. Yes, you are indeed correct, I always ALWAYS tell patients to avoid fish oil 14 days before laser- fish oil is good for you, but makes the job of the laser dermatologist very difficult- patients bleed more, and swelling maybe prolonged. The flip side is that the end result is still the same- so...
Thank you for your question. This all depends on the energy level selected, and the percentage of coverage used. This requires a Board Certified Dermatologist or Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to perform the procedure effectively and safely. There are many settings so your goal should be...
Thank you for your question. Sometimes, surgery is needed for this and not enough correction will occur with a laser. Sometimes, a laser will correct the lids enough to be satisfied. I hope this helps!
