Im 22yo Ive always struggled with acne/skin issues since I was in middle school, Ive done recent research about nasolabial folds which I believe I have. I use a lot of filters on my photos only because I hate how my face droops making me look ugly and older. Im not working atm so Im not too sure how I can fix this but does anyone have any advice?
I'm 24 and I has been having acnes at my laugh lines for a few years. I usually squeeze my acnes in that area, so the lines between my nose and cheeks appeared.. I tried fillers 2 years ago but it only helps a little. Now the filler dissolve and I think my laugh lines are even deeper and saggier. So I don't want filler anymore. Would Thermage or Ultherapy help my nasolabial folds? Thank you
Hello, I am trying to correct my nasolabial folds. I would like to delay the use of fillers for as long as possible. Based on my photo, do you think Ultherapy or Thermage could give me good results or should I go for fillers? If the latter, which one?
Im 42 years old. I have normal to dry skin. Im using the Medik8 skincare range. I have noticed an increased sagging of my eyes and especially nasolabial folds lately. Is Ultherapy the answer or a different procedure? Thank you.
Hi there! Please don't try and convince me to get fillers. Even if the results are not as dramatic or more expensive, I want to know what ALL the other options are for treating NASOLABIAL FOLDS specifically. For instance there are some incredible results shown in Gaspar's 2013 paper using a 2940nm Er:YAG laser. Plenty say that Ultherapy, Thermage and plasma pen can produce desirable results too. What are the best of these non-filler options? I'm 25, these lines are genetic. Keen to lose them.
I am 45 year old with sagging skin. my concerns are nasolabial folds and sagging skin. I would like to see some improvement like say 20-25% in the sagginess. While i find ultherapy out of my budget, does at home ultrasound devices/tool which is used in pain relief (physiotherapy) work on face too ? whats the risk in using ultrasound devices on face ?
I will turn 36 this year and slowly but surely I am seeing sagging in my nasolabial and mouth corner areas. I am thinking of doing Ulthera or Thermage - or even both? But I am not sure yet whether these procedures are the right one in general. Secondly, I want to get rid of my pandemic weight gain this year (~15kg/~33lbs) and am wondering whether this weight loss will affect the result of the procedure. Would it be better to have it before or after the weight loss, or does it matter at all?
30/F I have had loss of volume to the face causing sagging and nasolabial folds. The under eye circles dont bother me as much as the sunken cheeks do. Ive had fillers before but didnt find that they made a big difference in lifting the nasolabial folds (injected into cheekbone area to lift the face). Is ultheraphy a good solution for this slight sagging or would something else like a thread lift or filler be better? Im looking for the least invasive procedure.
I have had a consult for Ultherapy and was recommended as a candidate. My concern is that my skin is thin and I have read reports of Ultherapy further thinning it - how common is this and how worried should I be? I am mostly concerned about lifting and tightening the skin on my neck and lower face/nasolabial folds/sagging jowls. (I'm also interested in improving the tone and large pores, but am worried about too much exfoliation and peels with thin skin).
