I'm 5 MPO from a TT with MR, BA and full back and flanks lipo. In the past month, I've noticed a dent in my upper stomach. Is this normal, a sign of a failed muscle repair, or something completely different? It's hard to see in the picture, but the shadowy area that the arrow is pointing at is actually a dent. The third picture shows that when I press my fingers along my midline, they start to sink in where the dent is located. 5'6 -- 165 pounds day of surgery, same now.
My surgeon has agreed to revise my tummy tuck surgery in May this year, would like to know what do you think went wrong and what would you do to fix it? My surgery was in august, so this was 5months ago, my tummy has got larger above my tummy button, and bulges are more pronounced. My navel was not centred straight away, but has got a bit better over time, but apparently needs to be released and centred again. I will include before and afters to compare change, would love any comments
Im 5 months post op I did well with swelling and dont experience much swelling anymore since about one month post op I felt like my skin began to relax! I feel less confident and embarrassed as when I sit I look really big still. I look Ok when I stand....and only weighed 145-150 at surgery! I DID NOT LOOSE ALOT OF WEIGHT BEFORE I HAD SURGERY! I havent gained any weight either! Do you think this is revision worthy?
So 5 months post op and I mostly love my outcome except when I bend over or sit down. I am 5 mpo from TT, MR and lipo of flanks and upper belly. I know I am improved a 100 times from where I was but I hate my tummy still. Do you think a revision would help fix this extra skin or fat? Or would losing more weight tighten everything up? I understand sitting and bending we will have a little roll but this much? Will it tighten more with more time?
I had a tummy tuck last July the doctor did a second opertion in Dec, 2011 to remove more skin. I was very happy with the results and had an almost flat stomach. The last couple months my stomach has been distending. I had an ultrasound done and was told I had a gall stone but that it was not causing this distention. The cosmetic surgeon said there was no fluid build up. I am very disppointed and perplexed as to what is happening.
I had a TT Apr 2013 and my belly button shrunk so small I couldn't even fit a q-tip in it. My surgeon did a revision Apr 2014 and it is the same thing. I'm so frustrated. Does he not know what he's doing? Why does my bb keep shrinking so small? What should I do now?
