Do you think a revision would help fix this extra skin or fat?

Dear Mom of 4,   Thanks for posting your before and after pictures and congratulation on a nice tummy tuck result - your stomach is flat, your body posture is improved, your belly button is nice, your waists are more defined  and your scar is low.    The folds that you have are fat and that can be very dramatically improved with aggressive liposuction that can't be done in combination with tummy tuck due to the high risk of severe complications .   Now is a perfect time to perform the liposuction of the hips, waists, lower flanks and abdomen including pubic area and lower chest. That will dramatically eliminate the folds due to the  fat removal and the skin tightening.   Discuss it with your surgeon and check the before and after  pictures  in the photo gallery , to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and attractive.    In my practice I use the Microair PAL (Power Assisted Liposuction) which is very efficient and gives dramatic improvement.                     Best of luck,                                      Dr Widder

Hi dear, thank you for your question!It is normal to see this happening when you're bend or seated, is still early as the whole procedure takes a bit more time to actually show real results but in my opinion I think a revision may be helpful because there is not much tissue left to be tighten up so you could either try loosing some pounds and getting a revision to fix the loose skin left. Sometimes some surgeons decide to not go too far with the skin removal to avoid any further complication but apparently everything went well so you can have a revision as mentioned.Hope this helps,,Dr. Jimenez Toribio Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon.
