Thread Lift + Pros And Cons Q&A

I am considering to have a thread lift, but so far I don't see many good reviews from people who actually did. I wonder what is a major reason for that.

I would like to know the pros and cons of the treatment. I was told that if the sutures do not dissolve, it can cause scarring and show lumps through your skin.

I'm 50 years old. I'm noticing signs of aging on my chest, neck, & lower face. I also want a slight brow lift. I'm wondering about scars, pros and cons. Cost, pain and recovery time? I live in Georgia close to Atlanta. Have not found many doctors here yet that do this procedure. But I would like to have it done the first of next year. Want to look like myself just refreshed. My mid face is starting to show signs of gravity along with my neck bands. Any advice would be helpful.

1) What is advantages and disadvantages of absorbable (Silhouette threads) and non absorbable (prolene threads) ? 2) Which one last longer for lifting ? 3) Finally could surgeon remove absorbable (Silhouette) threads if it's broken under skin after lifting ?
