I'm looking to add balance and symmetry to my face, but I struggle to know where to begin. I've considered a thread lift for my eyes - or even potentially blepharoplasty and a brow lift - buccal fat removal, and filler in my lips and chin, but am not actually sure if this is what my face requires. I would like more clarity before booking appointments to I get the most for my time and money. Any recommendations on what would suit my face and accentuate/balance my natural features would be great!
I have two areas that really bother me, my brows that look worse with botox, and the area between my nose and upper lip that I'm told can only be fixed with jaw surgery. I'm interested in exploring threads since they have worked well on fixing a horizontal line across the bridge of my nose/brow bone. Would a thread brow lift get rid of mild horizontal forehead lines? Would a thread on the underside of my nose between my nostrils help make the skin between my upper lip and nose less visible?
Im a 25 y/o F. My biggest concern is my facial asymmetry, which I inherited genetically and which has gotten worse over the past 5 years. The whole left side is asymmetrical, causing some heavier shadows and rather uneven lips. Would some combination of a thread lift (for general asymmetry on left side), lip lift (to correct uneven lips), and buccal fat removal (to address volume around mouth) help? What might you recommend? I dont love the idea of filler; Id prefer a semi-permanent solution.
I have a long philtrum. I know threads can be placed on vermillion border for a lip flip but I want more tooth show and support the upper lip. Can I have threads placed through the philtrum vertically (from lip up to nose) for a non surgical lip lift effect?
My lip corners are downturned . I went to a doctor for a filler but he recommended using thread for long-term results. I am considering fat graft for my cheeks as I lost so much weight,I asked the doctor if the fat graft will enhance the downturned lips and he said not too much but threads will. Is this really a good solution? Is there any side effects? Which threads are the best?Noting that I am 29 years. I am only worried It wont give the result I am expecting.
Can threads be used to achieve a subtle non-surgical lip lift? I have a long distance from the tip of my nose to my top lip. Id like to shorten it non-surgically and without fillers, which in the past have made my top lip look weighed down and heavy. Thanks!
After completing my antibiotics I felt a sharp pain on the rim on my lip, throughout the day the pain shifted through the whole lip. The pain is insane, for a week i feel like my lip is stuffed with needles, and i can see a line going through it and poking through the skin next to my nostril (so it went through the lip and up), since its a barbed thread, i cant eat, speak properly or touch my lip, due to shooting pains from the pins. My beautician is shocked.
