Hello, I received PDO threads on my cheek bones about 7 months ago. Two months later I noticed puffiness in that area. After speaking with a cosmetic dermatologist she stated that it could be a late on set symptom of my PDO threads and a possibility of excision could be an option. This is a big decision. My question is if there is an imaging scan that could detect the sutures and identify the issue?
I have had a thread lift with Mint threads. After this my cheekbones became wide and rounded. I think it was due the hypercorrection. I am very much concerned that they remain like this until the threads are completely obsorbed. I need to know that since I am considering the extraction of the threads. I would be very grateful for any information.
I'm particularly concerned about the area under my eyes and the bit of sagging on my upper eyelids. I like the shape of my lower face so far, I was thinking about thread lift to contour it a bit more (to bring out the vshape) and maybe cheekbone reduction. I'm open for suggestions and happy to read your answers. Thank you in advance :)
HI doctors. I am in my mid 30's and a few years ago i under went a slight cheekbone and jaw reduction. I am experiencing some skin laxity after the reduction. I was wondering if non invasive threadlifts (facelift) will absorb inside the face over time? or do the threads stay inside the face?
I had 4 PDO threads (2 each side) inserted in my cheekbone area to create the v-lift type effect pulling skin away from nasolabial folds. I had this done 4 weeks ago however I still need a little more tightening and was thinking if I should have HIFU done. Will the HIFU break the threads down or will it ruin the lifting effect created by the threads?
Three days ago I had a thread lift done on my face with PDO threads. My face looks great, the nasolabial folds are gone but at the point of the exit, the threads when I smile create a bumb. As a little wire which is trying to protrude through the skin. What can be done? (I had this done before with great results but this never happend to me before)
I had PDO barbed threads 4- weeks ago. It's been traumatic, the results are not good, visible vertical threads in both sides below cheekbones, a skin ripple below right cheek and dent on cheek. There seems to be limited information on correcting this procedure. I am now wondering whether cheek filler would help to disguise the ripple and protruding threads below each cheek by lifting the skin away from threads, also is it too soon to injection filler, I'm feeling desperate and really embarrassed
