Question

Three days ago I had a thread lift done on my face with PDO threads. My face looks great, the nasolabial folds are gone but at the point of the exit, the threads when I smile create a “bumb”. As a little wire which is trying to protrude through the skin. What can be done? (I had this done before with great results but this never happend to me before)

At times, the end of barbed threads may protrude especially with certain expressions. I would return to the provider to evaluate. This can often be corrected with  a needle at the insertion point and appropriate pressure to better retract the thread, or even cut more off the end of the thread if necessary.

Hey there,The visible thread needs a slight tug and a cut. This will bury the remaining thread inside the skin. And may also correct the bump.
