What is the recovery time typically like for a mini thigh lift? Is it less than for a medial thigh lift or similar? For a job where I need to be semi-active (lots of walking/standing, some bending and lifting but not very heavy), how much time off could I expect to need following a mini thigh lift?
Should I recover in the prone or supine position from a medial thigh lift? What are the pros and cons of both? I'd like to combine it with a brazilian butt lift but won't if it would compromise the thigh lift incisions. Thanks.
I had weight loss surgery in 2015 and lost 120 lbs in 10 months. I have been weight stable since. Two months ago I had a fleur de lis abdominalplasty. I am scheduled for a thigh lift next month and Im wondering what to expect recovery wise. I only took one pain pill with the abdominalplasty, and managed with regular Tylenol. My surgeon is planning to cut an L shape from my groin down to my knee, along with a little liposuction around my knee.
I have a thigh lift scheduled for Oct. 1st. My surgeon doesn't use compression garments and I'm wondering about the best thing to wear for post-surgery recovery. A skirt/dress so there's no rubbing on the bandages? Or loose pants so my legs aren't rubbing against each other?
I am planning to have a inner and outer thigh lift, and I'm trying to find out which of the two surgeries would you consider to be the hardest to recover from, tummy tuck and breast reduction or inner and outer thigh lift I do know everyone I'd different but in general which operation would you say is the worst hardest or more severe operation. I don't believe I worded my last question correctly. I did develop cellulitis and was put on stronger antibiotics two weeks ago which helped tremendously. Now, 3 weeks after surgery I still have a lot of tenderness on my inner thighs as well as a lot of tightness. Swelling has gone down, but not completely gone. Saw doctor, he said to try to walk as much as possible and then come back and see him in a month. All he can figure out at this point is perhaps slow recovery time. Thank you
I have lost approximately 160lbs from my 2010 gastric bypass. In October, I had a TT and Breast Lift with implants. I have scheduled surgery for a medial thigh lift and lower back tuck/ buttock lift next month. I have not seen many information on the recovery tips or info on performing my ADL's; as well as how does one sleep or things/ items that may be useful in recovery. There does not seem to be much information on the lower back tuck/ buttock lift
5/4 had a medial thigh lift where it has left me now w/2 open incisions in the upper thigh/groin area. doc said to put saline soaked gauze into one of the open holes. How long does this take to heal? noticed the other leg now has a little hole too.Im becoming very discouraged & depressed. I am on 2 antibiotics, bractrim & cipro 2xday. They say this is normal. what can I do make them heal quicker and avoid it getting any bigger?? Is it really that common?Should I seek help elsewhere?
I'm going to be staying over night a hospital because Dr feels because I've had bariatric surgery I'm more prone to infection or wound separatean because he said malnutrition which I don't think I'm malnurced and neither does my bariatric surgeon. went to preop last week my direction for recovery is first 2 wks to baby legs keep legs together always closed not to be moving around a lot not to do a lot of walking is this right? I always been told walk after surgery so you don't get blood clots
