Growing up I have always had what people call thick thighs. As a grew so did my thighs and so did the problem. I physically can not where dresses, shorts, skirts or low crotch pants in fear of the pain i will face after 5 minute. My thighs have chafed so badly that theyve became open wounds that in turn became scaring. I want to be able to do the things I love without the pain that comes with it. (Yes I have tried working out but to no avail) anything I can do to fix this problem ?
Thigh lift desaster. I need help! i'm 1 week po thigh lift, andhave open wounds on both legs.I can't stop cry,and i don't know what to do. My doctor said i look good, just keep clean, dry and cover with gauze. Please i need help! I'm affraid to use my leg, will this ever heal? How long takes? Anything i can take,or put on it to heal faster?
Called my doc and he said keep antibiotic cream on it and come back next week to recheck. It is dripping a red tinted fluid. It seems to be steady dripping unless bandage is pressed against the wound. Any other ideas for care or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thigh lift 2wks ago. I hv open area on both thighs. The one on left thigh is pretty large and draining really bad. The back of my thighs are hard. I was instructed to wear my compression garment to control swelling but it's completely soiled within 2 to 3 hrs. Any suggestions? Draining beyond my control.
Over past week has enlarged from 1/8 to 3/8. I saw my PS two weeks ago and it had not opened yet but she told me it would open and drain. She said maybe a spitting stitch. She said to use silvadene after it opens which I have been doing. I have not noticed any stitch coming to surface - just the hole that is cavernous underneath. The drainage is thin pink - tinged and sometimes more bloody. No odor. No fever. Will this heal with current treatment of silvadene? How long will it take to heal?
I am 7 days post op for medial thigh lift. Both sides opened up. How can this huge hole heal on its own. I am in a lot of pain. Doc prescribed antibiotics and said I should feel better when they went to work. The next day I did. But since incision opened more I am once again great deal of pain. I'm cleaning by letting water run patting dry neosporin pain relief and packing gauze. My concern, how open incisions should be treated and how long recovery will take. I need to get back to work.
I had a thigh lift, arm lift and butt lift 8 days ago. I have 2 drains in bikini area that are draining an awful smelling purple fluid. I also have a small wound opening. My PS called in antibiotics last night. Can antibiotics really turn this around? I'm petrified to move and make it worse and the smell of the fluid is nauseating me. I'm keeping the wound extra clean. Nothing has changed since starting the antibiotics last night but will it get better keeping these drains in with antibiotics ?
