I have been over moisturising with Vaseline and using hydrocortisone and antibiotic cream . It was tender for the first 3 day but the pain has subsided . Please what can I do ? My gender is female my age is 56 skin type used to be healthy except for some wrinkles. Over a year ago I had purchased a chemical peel online and went with a different brand that I usually go with. It said it was TCA so I did not neutralize it. The next day I woke up and had severe chemical burns all over my face. I now keep getting small brown spots that turn into holes or they stay brown spots on my face. What could it be?
Hello doctors. I have indian skin on the fair side. I accidentally applied 60% tca instead of my usual 15%(i got to know this later only on my scarring area which are my cheeks. After 15secs it frosted and i washed it off after a minute. Later after frosting subsided , the area where the frosting had occured change to this dark purple brown color. I understand i have made a huge mistake. Im on day two right now. The skin feels a little tighter. What should i expect.cant afford derm visit rn.
I did 30% TCA peel at home for removing pigmentation but it burnt my skin and the pigmentation is even darker. I ruined my skin, its been a month already. Is there any treatment for this except waiting months or year to fade??
I did a 25% TCA Peel 3 nights ago. My cheeks frosted really well, when they did I put neutralizer on them. next day my cheeks and some other areas are really pink and have dark brown spots. These really red spots make me feel like I burned and might scar. It doesnt hurt, but it hasnt started to peel yet like other spots. What can I do to treat it if it is burnt? Ive done one before either 10/15 and had great results. Im using burn cream and essential oils mixed in coconut oil for moisturizer
My esthetician did a spot treatment with 10% TCA cross peel for ice box acne scars. The esthetician didn't use neutralizer after 10% TCA cross peel bcuz she said it is low percentage of TCA and doesn't require neutralizer. She didn't wash my face after she applied the peel. She told me go home & wash my face after 6 hours later and apply moisturizer. I have now burned spots on my face 2 days later. It doesn't feel flakey, it feels smooth like part of the skin. Is this permanent or will it flake away? How long will it take to flake away. What should I do/apply now in mean time?
It's been (one day) so far. I'm very worried that it will scar and stay this grayish color. It looks like a burn all over my checks and forehead. It doesn't look like it will peel because I believe the TCA was too strong for my skin and probably few days after microneedling didn't allow skin to heal quick before the peel. Will this be a permanent scar? Will this heal? I've been putting antibotic cream on it so far. What can I do on my own to heal this? No dermatologist near by. Help!
