I had dark spots on my second toes. I applied an 85% TCA peel a month ago to lighten all of my toes and now my toes are darker than they were. Is this normal? It actually burned one of my toes and caused a sore to form. Will my skin lighten? What can I do to get my natural skin tone?
I Had 80% TCA cross done by dr in London after 4 weeks my face is all red marks dr said its normal it will clear 4 to 6 week but me I think my face is destroyed pls help me for the redness and the 2 deep scars that I never had before
I'm 38 and have light skin. I was due to have 3 more peels but my doctor has advised no more peels! He thinks this is due to sun exposure, and not applying sunscreen properly. What can I do to actively manage down the hyperpigmentation? Does this really mean no more peels, even with more discipline on sun protection? I also cannot have microdermabrasion because of broken blood vessels, and am looking for a treatment that would offer similar freshening results
I did a TCA peel last month so I decided to do it again. I have not faced such complications the last time. Basically, this is the third day (I got my peel Thursday) and I woke up and I am petrified. A piece of my dead skin peeled off prematurely (jawline area) and i am positive it's not ready to peel. The new skin is really pink i am scared. What should I do? The peel is 25% and I did it at at a sertified dermatologist's office.
Today is Day 26 post 40% TCA peel, I'm afraid that my skin is damage and need help or advice on how I can correct this terrible mistake. I'm not sure if I'm experiencing hyper pigmentation or hypo pigmentation because of the discoloration. Will the scaring stay?
ONE MONTH ago I had a 40% TCA peel on face & 25% on neck & chest by board certified dermatologist. My face is still tight, pink, slightly swollen in cheeks & now is blotchy & slightly darker around my mouth & cheeks. My neck has pink & white streaks. I went back to my doctor & he gave me prednisone but I'm concerned about the darker areas on mouth & cheeks. My skin is pretty light & now looks bad w/o makeup. Will pinkness go away? What can I do about darker areas? I've stayed out of sun.
I have been performing at-home glycolic peels for 6 months now. Then used an at-home 12.5% TCA Peel, and a month later did a second peel, with 2 layers. My face peeled for almost a week. This was 5 weeks ago, and my face still has redness. It isn't severe but I find myself using lots of concealer. Post-peel, I used SPF30 and moisturizer, I did not use anti-bacterial ointment as recommended since it would make my skin so oily under makeup. Why do I have redness? Can I resume TCA peels?
