I had dark spots on my second toes. I applied an 85% TCA peel a month ago to lighten all of my toes and now my toes are darker than they were. Is this normal? It actually burned one of my toes and caused a sore to form. Will my skin lighten? What can I do to get my natural skin tone?

I don't recommend doing peels yourself, due to the risk of complications. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist for after care and treatment. These spots can be improved with a combination of lasers, Aerolase, microneedling/prp, skin lightening, peels, and skin care. Sun protection is essential.
