I accidentally bumped the area where my tattoo is and most of the blisters peeled. There is bleeding and pus. My doctor has told me to continue applying Ascend cream which contains: steryl alcohol, propylene glycol, petrolatum, polyoxyl 40 sterate, isopropyl myristate. It's been 3 days since the procedure and I've read that the removal area should be kept dry but I have open wounds and my doctor told me to apply the cream twice a day. I'm getting mixed messages so I'm confused.
I had my first laser tattoo removal session yesterday. The doctor only out antibiotic ointment on the top two butterflies and not on the bottom one. His rationale was that the top two were bleeding. Well, this morning I woke up and the bottom butterfly had significant blisters. Should I be concerned? The doctor used the Quanta Q, plus C laser. I cleaned the area with antiseptic and put on neosporin. Any advice that you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
Post treatment it has bled significantly. My intentions are to have it faded enough to cover with light watercolor to match the rest of my half sleeve. Because I know bleeding leads to scabbing and scabbing leads to scarring, I'm concerned that this has not been done correctly. There are many holes a few mm in diameter, and it almost looks as if the laser was held over these areas to long. In prior tattoo removal I only experienced redness around the treated area. A Q-Switched laser was used.
I had my second session of tatto removal my first one went great no bleeding or scabing. This second time my whole tattoo seamed to be bleeding in spots all over and there was one spot that had a bit more blood is this normal. The lady said this time the setting was higher should I ask to be done at the original setting from the first time ? Will this mean I will scar and have trouble with the healing for the second time ?
I went for a laser tattoo removal consultation and was told that there wasn't going to be blistering but there would be pinpoint bleeding and that some of the ink pigment would come off in a scab. Is the scabbing normal or does it sound like I will have a lot of scarring?
I went to a different dermatologist for my 4th session. The technician used Medlite with 1024 wavelength (I have light-medium Asian skin). The laser didn't hurt much, unlike the other times. Afterwards, my tattoo looked bad, very red and bleeding. It bled a lot for 4-5 hours, but the technician said it is normal. 12 hours later, it was still bleeding a bit all over. I am so worried I will scar or hyperpigment. Is the bleeding indeed normal? My tattoo never bled this much before.
I just got home from my removal session I feel I should mention that the session prior, I got an ice burn (they freeze the area before lasering) but I gave it two months for it to completed heal. I've never bled this much before I'm concerned that it might leave a scar or something. I called the place and the girl who performed on me said that it was normal to bleed, but I want to make sure. The areas that are bright red are dried blood. How should I care for this? How should I wash the area?
I had my third picosure session two days ago. I'm concerned the reaction is not normal. I had a good amount of bleeding there are fairly large bright red spots. I've attached photos before and after each treatment for comparison. I have contacted the doctor who performed the treatment but have not heard back. Reputable center, treatments performed by Doctor with extensive experience. Is this normal? Should I be doing anything different for aftercare?
I recently trialled the new PicoWay laser and used a 4mm spot size on one part of the tattoo. There was pinpoint bleeding and I was left with lots of little scabs which have now fallen off. The skin is currently pink and healing, but it looks like some parts have faded quite well underneath. I wondered what pinpoint bleeding means in tattoo removal and if this indicates a successful treatment? Should I ask for the same settings over the whole tattoo next time?
