I had subcision done along with a filler 3 weeks ago. This scar is now 4 months old. I don't see any improvement in it. Should i opt for multiple treatments of subcision with filler for this scar. I'm very upset as i put my money and time in it. What should my next steps be? I'm in need of your expert opinion.
Hi doctor, i had had 2 rounds of subcision and the last one was done in April last year but till now there are still redness or hyperpigmentation on my cheeks. I think it helped with scarring a bit definitely worsened the redness/hyperpigmentation. There are basically at the tiny spots where doctor injected her needles. Are there ways to solve this? I am just worried it will become dark and permanent if I dont treat it now.
On trying to subcise this, it was obvious that this was tethered down scar tissue and one would not be able to replace or improve the underlying structures Can someone please explain this to me a bit more. I had subcision on the end of my penis for a box scar form from syphilis White Caucasian male 30 years old
Had Taylor liberator subcision in March 2021 for acne scarring and have scar tissue which has caused inflammation and swelling in both cheeks. Dr has tried steroid injections. Had MRI which says oedema and scar tissue and I just have to wait for it to heal. No improvement so at a loss. Any suggestions?
I noticed that my cheeks esp. when smiling are way less full and seem to sit lower or have dropped compared to the before pictures (only ~5 months ago, so highly doubt itts just aging). How could this be explained other than ot being sagging from the cannula subcision to my cheeks (from ligament damage)? It makes me really sad and I want to be able to understand whar happened. Thank you for your answers!
I am a 33 year old female. I had full field Taylor Liberator subcision performed 2 years ago to try to improve acne scarring on my cheeks. I have been left with a swollen face where volume in my cheeks appears to have dropped. I have waited this long to see if it was swelling and my slim and contoured face would return but as you can see it hasn't. I feel I have aged quite significantly. What could be the cause of this and what are my options?
Over a year ago, I underwent a subcision to help smooth acne scars. Unfortunately, the subcision left me with new, more horrific scars. Since the botched procedure, he has attempted different approaches to eliminate the damage he caused. However, as you can see, the scars are still visible. This experience has left me now emotionally scarred too. Any advice on how to eliminate the damage is greatly appreciated.
Had subcision months ago and I was left with under skin hard bumps. Doctor said it's scar tissue formed by the needle but I shouldn't worry?!?! I did subcison because I wanted to release scar not get a new one! This will probably destroy my chances with fillers because the hard skin may push them away. Unbelievable. Now what's the solution? Kenalog is too risky for an already depressed area? I'm clueless.
I had a Taylor liberator subcision treatment over a year ago to treat my boxcar and rolling acne scars. While the procedure has improved the texture of my skin by around 50%, I feel like the overall structure of my face has changed completely in that the fat in the apples of my cheeks has travelled south to my lower face, creating a sagging appearance and feeling like I've aged 15+ years (an outcome of the treatment I hadn't been expecting considering I'm still in my 20s). Ideas?
