Has subcision aged me and changed my face permanently?

I had a Taylor liberator subcision treatment over a year ago to treat my boxcar and rolling acne scars. While the procedure has improved the texture of my skin by around 50%, I feel like the overall structure of my face has changed completely in that the fat in the apples of my cheeks has travelled south to my lower face, creating a sagging appearance and feeling like I've aged 15+ years (an outcome of the treatment I hadn't been expecting considering I'm still in my 20s). Ideas?

I have had occasion to treat individuals with gratifying results who have come to me with excessive subdermal fibrosis following the Taylor Liberator procedure, which is quite an aggressive form of field subcision. It is quite possible that excessive fibrosis tissue engendered by this treatment accumulated in the areas of the Liberator procedure in response to the treatment and that it is this fibrosis (essentially scar tissue below the skin surface) that is creating the premature heavier lower face appearance that you find so displeasing. If this is indeed so, then an algorithm of varying combinations, concentrations and and amounts of certain intralesional antiinflammatory agents can help to shrink this and thereby restore more normal and youthful proportions to your face.
