I recently had Smart lipo done (10/24/18) and my PS stated that my stomach was flat after the procedure. However; after I removed the bandages and padding 2 days later I got this huge bulge which hasnt gone down since. Its over 9 days, Its tender to the touch and bruised. PS said it might be scar tissue and theres not much he can do but hope it goes down. I look horrible, my stomach now looks deformed.
I am concerned from the uneven and lumpy skin underneath my belly button and still a very hard fat bump Is this scar tissue ? What are other alternatives other than revision that can be done?
I got smart lipo down 7 weeks ago. I wore my compression garment 24/7 for about 5 weeks and on and off for another week and now Im not wearing it at all. Im noticing a large lumpy area on my upper abdomen. For the past 3 mornings Ive woken up with an intense feeling of burning in that area. Im still receiving a massage once a week with cavitation but I only see and feel the scar tissue getting worse. Can this scar tissue stay permanently? And is this burning normal?
I had smart lipo on arms, lateral chest and inner thighs. I have been in a great deal of pain and I'm 10 days post op. Is this normal? I am unable to lift my arms up all the way. It feels like a rope of scar tissue and you can even see it pulling under the skin. Is this normal as in the normal lumps under the skin that will go away with time or could this be something more serious? It's very painful reaching for things.
I had smartlipo 5 months ago. I have a bulge around my belly button area. There also appears to be an indent on my upper stomach. Could it be left over fat or scar tissue or lose skin? What could my possible options be to reduce this?
I had SmartLipo with suction over 8 months ago to my front and back thighs with only about 250CCs removed. I am petite, but wanted some refining on areas that wouldn't budge. However, now my thighs are significantly bigger (I measured them!) compared to its size pre-procedure. My high-profile NYC plastic surgeon refuses to acknowledge my concerns. I had had liposuction previously done on the same area (with about 1000CCs removed) several years ago with the same doctor, with great success.I have been even more careful about diet and not exercising too much and I weigh within the same 2-3 pound range as when I went in for surgery. My legs don't feel flabby but they are just plain bigger all around. The rest of me is exactly the same while my thighs just got bigger instead of smaller. I can barely wear the same jeans. Is it massive scar tissue or could it still be swelling? Will this ever go away? Thank you for any feedback!
