I understand that scar tissue forma after lazer lipo. I had it on my back and arms.

Scar tissue forms after laser lipo regardless of what you do afterwards. Nonetheless, massage by any method is a good way to reduce fluid pockets and lumps as you heal for a smoother texture and less chance of persistent lumps. It helps to soften scar tissue, but doesn't prevent it from happening.

Massage after SmartLipo helps to speed up recovery by reducing the post procedure swelling. I advise my patients to do a series of lymphatic drainage massages by a licensed therapist immediately after the procedure, followed by at home massaging with or without an electric massager. I like the handheld device that gently heats up the tissue, but any form of massaging is helpful.

massage after Smartlipo is helpful for speeding recovery and softening of the soft tissue. if this helps with the massage, it should be fine. if it does not hurt it should not be a problem.david berman md
