Is there any ointments or new treatments that could help with constant inflamation. We have tried lazer treatment 10 yrs ago with no success. Any new lazers today, or just anything that could be applied to help with the redness.? Applying make up constantly clogs and enlarges pores, and does not cover up the reddness very well.
I had silicone filler to in my nose. I had an eye infection and had to wear my glasses that slid down and were heavy for a week. The nose pads were hard and didnt press directly but pressure around it. The skin is different, there is a slight hot tingling sensation. Looks somewhat different. Nosril on that side a little blocked. -can the silicone go into my bloodstream even now? -can it shift? did it? -what about removal? -is it still silicone, or had it turned to my own body's tissue?
I am getting silicone injections by an experienced injector in my nose. He explained it is only the tiniest bit used. This is to perfect results have an initial rhinoplasty procedure as I am still lacking fullness one one side of my nose. I have a history of having cold sores on my lower lip. Is it possible having a foreign material in my nose can create a higher frequency of outbreaks in the future?
i have localized redness from silicone. my dr has tried v beams, 2 IPL, 2 steroid shots, desonide ointment, predisone, and minocycline. had improvement in the redness but it never fully disappears. Been reading about saline injected into scars to clear infection and turn scars whiter as the blood vessels die. ANY ADVICE PLS. my dr does not realize how this is hurting my confidence wallet and creating depression. Anyone in nyc or nj that can help or try this? scars would look amazing if no redness
On a recent rhinoplasty follow-up visit I was injected with liquid silicone to improve the results. The doctor gave me the shot "matter of fact" and didn't mention any dangers. I didn't know there was danger so I went ahead and got the shot. NOW I AM FREAKING OUT. I read that the silicone CANNOT BE REMOVED EVER and that there are links to pneumonitis, migration of the silicone, granuloma, nodules, and even facial necrosis. I am scared out of my mind. Please tell me how dangerous this is.
I am considering having a filler injected to correct my nasal tip. I have had three rhinoplasties. The first was purely cosmetic, the last two were to correct defects after a break. After the first, my nasal tip lost it's definition on the right side. The doctor who did my later surgeries was unable to correct this. The lack of symmetry, though unnoticeable to others, bothers me a great deal and seems very apparent in photos. I was recently reading about correcting nasal defects with micro-droplet silicone injections; would that also work for my issue?
