Thank you for sharing your photo and question. Based on what I can see, you may be a good candidate for Sculptra, especially if your goal is to restore facial volume, improve skin firmness, and achieve a natural, gradual rejuvenation. Sculptra works by stimulating your body’s own collagen production, leading to subtle yet long-lasting results over time.At age 59, many patients benefit from a combination approach — for example, Sculptra alongside hyaluronic acid fillers or skin-tightening treatments — depending on your specific facial structure and degree of volume loss.During your consultation, your provider will assess your facial anatomy in detail and discuss your aesthetic goals to tailor the treatment plan to your needs. It’s wonderful that you already have that appointment booked.
I was one of the first to adopt Sculptra quite a number of years ago when it first came to market. Despite its expense and the fact that about three treatment sessions are usually necessary to achieve optimal results, it offered, at the time, the benefit of longer-lasting results as compared to the much shorterlasting results that could be obtained with the HA fillers that were available at the time. It possessed, however, another significant downside insofar as there was (and still is) no enzyme that could dissolve the Sculptra should there be adverse reactions.Since then, however, quite a few more robust HA fillers have been approved by the FDA that yield immediate results after only one treatment and produce results that may last up to two years. And lastly, these HA fillers have the additional, significant advantage that a natural enzyme, hylauronidase, can be used to dissolve the filler should the need ever arise. You would be wise to make sure to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist filler expert to discuss these issues. Hope this helps and best of luck.
At least from the photos provided, it would appear that there is volume loss in the cheeks, which has resulted in the loss of projection of the upper cheeks and flattening of the Ogee Curve. The use of a robust HA volumizing filler would help to restore the desirable feminine oval to the cheeks...
Whatever the reason, it may be a natural built, or maybe you have lost quite a bit of weight, but your face appears to be very skeletonized with extremely well defined cheekbones. I think in order for you to look more youthful, you need to restore fullness to the face, but I would not recommend...
PlasmaSculpt is basically Sculptra mixed with PRP. Sculptra on its own has strong evidence for collagen stimulation and long-lasting volume, while PRP may add some skin quality benefits. The combo itself isn’t FDA-approved, but it’s commonly used off-label. If the price is the same as Scu...
