Scar Removal + Dog Bite Q&A

Hi has an accident with my pet dog where due to unforeseen reason he bit me, it happened to be my face. Now that's it's all over and im emotionally alright there are some red scars left on the right cheek and eye region. Just wanted to get advices from the same from the professionals. I had a dog bite to my upper right lip. I am now one month after surgery and I am worried about the disfiguration of my mouth and asymmetrical upper lip.

When i was 7 years old. I was bitten by dog and had a peeled off wounds that's why they needed to stitch it. The stitches had'nt removed. I can't front others with confidence because of this scar. It ruined my life 15 years ago til now, Plss help me about this. I'm so disperate to remove this scar. Thank you and God bless!

Hi , You can call me Y2 and I'm 26 years old. Three years ago I was bitten by a dog on my nose. I got seven stitches from the left side of my nose going across the bridge of my nose then over to the right side of my nose. They also put a stitch in the tip of my nose. I noticed a couple of posts about different treatments. They attempted to re-cut open the scar and re stitch to adjust the width of the scar. I also had 5 fraxel procedures done. What if any would be my best next procedure to do?

I have trauma from this scar and it affects my self esteem. It used to be flatter but with age it feels more and more prominent. When I smile its less noticeable which is why I had the first scar revised. Ive used fillers (not enough) and lasers which have done hardly anything. There is one section in particular I would like some skin taken from but I dont know what the best procedure or steps would be. The original surgeon offered to fix it back when it healed but I was too afraid. It is revised by z-plasty one year after initial scar.

Hi, I was bit by a new family dog on 5/11. This scar on my lip is really bothering me. The upper lip scar is most bothersome, I don't too much care about the one directly on my lip. The upper lip scar has started to become raised. I've been using Scaraway gel liberally ever since I got the stitches out. I am a recent college grad and not a rich girl. What are my options and a price range for them?

I am a 26 year old asian female who was bitten in the arm by a dog and left with several puncture wounds 7 weeks ago which I all got stitched up in hospital and now left with scars. Ive been alternating between silicon gel and sheets during day and night and did a microneedling treatment about 3 weeks ago. Which Im unsure to continue due to the pain and recovery time. What is the best treatments to address scarring some have left raised hypertrophic scarring and some left dark mark lines.
