Had revision rhinoplasty 2 years ago, w/rib cartilage to form a defined tip. Excellent results; however, the nostrils look bad due to soft triangle areas having excess skin or cartilage. Can this be resected to round it out? I dislike how they angle downard toward the columella. The tissue to resect in the left soft triangle feels like cartilage from my tip, and right side may be skin or cartilage. ALSO, can kenalog or 5FU create a supratip break? (If I tape it, I get a supratip break for a day)
I had a rhinoplasty 2 years ago. While the shape of my nose was greatly improved, the tip is still very pointy and projects a lot from my face. Im wondering if a revision rhinoplasty would improve my result and create better harmony for face. The tip of my nose still points down and feels quite large for my face.
I had a revision rhinoplasty done about two years ago. Everyday since, my nose has been filled with bloody mucus. It dries up and gets painful. When I blow the dried bloody mucus out, it triggers it to start bleeding again (not gushing, but bleeding enough inside the nose canals). Im not quite sure what to do, and my doctor isnt easy to get in touch with nor did he think it was a big deal when I brought it up to him a few months after the surgery.
I had a revision rhinoplasty 2 years ago aiming to straighten my nose, improve breathing, and enhance my nasal bridge. Unfortunately, none of these were achieved; the septoplasty wasn't strong enough, so my nose reverted to its crooked shape, causing breathing issues. The FDC graft now shows severe irregularities visible through the skin. My surgeon refused further work. Can anything be done to fix this?
two years ago I had a rhinoplasty, The surgeon suggested I do a combined surgery with septoplasty,But in the end I only did a rhinoplasty. I'm two years after the rhinoplasty and for the last year I can hardly breathe, my nose is blocked, I have migraines every morning and pressure in my eyes, ears and face, I'm constantly tired, dry nose,I can't workout. And I had sinusitis a lot in those two years. I read that second rhinoplasty is very complicated. what do you suggest?
Nose too short and not at all like it was before septorhinoplasty with rib graft. Is there anyway to fix this? More than two years post op and I can't believe the results of this surgery. It's a botch job. My breathing hasn't even improved. I miss my old nose. Was told perforated septum was going to be fixed but it wasn't. I miss my old face.
I had a revision rhinoplasty 2.5 years ago. My nose is bulbous, wide and flattens out when I smile big giving my nose a very wide appearance. I had a long, skinny nose prior to revision rhinoplasty. My questions are: 1) Can the wide look be due to tip swelling or has it been over deprojected? 2) If it can be due to over deprojection, what are my options in fixing the width of my nose? Will I have to get another revision?
Can somebody please help me. Ive had a revision rhinoplasty about 2 1/2 years ago. Ever since then my nose has been hurting, growing swelling, bruising, and severely painful ever since. I have been on strong pain medication for about 2 1/half months now and I dont think I can take them daily for the rest of my life. Can somebody please tell me what my options are? Im at the point where I just want my nose cut off completely. I believe my nose needs to be drained and scraped
Hi, I had a septorhinoplasty 2 years ago and I am going for a revision now (the doctor will use ear cartilage to build my nose and to make it look straighter).I have some guestions about that : 1)Can ear cartilage warp? How will that affect the nose (will the nose become more crooked) ?? 2)Can ear cartilage become visible under the skin? 3)Can it extrude? 4)And what to do in these cases? Can I undergo another revision to remove the ear cartilage from my nose ??
