I am a 24 yr old. I have been taking 10mg Accutane and Androcur for 6 months (currently tapering off). I still have scarring and large pores which fill easily and bad texture. Out of everything I have researched I am considering starting RetinA for clogged pores and skin tone, and dermaroller for collagen production to fill in my pores. I am worried that retinA will make my pores appear larger and permanently damage my skin. Will these help? microdermabrasion last year made my skin much worse
Hi! I recently started using Tretinoin. I wasnt aware that waxing while using a retinoids can be harming for the skin. After my first wax after starting retinoids I have abrations around my mouth and chin. Extremely painful and red. Please be kind enough to advice me on how to treat these abrations to minimize scarring and discoloration. And how can can I avoid it in the future. Thank you very much
I first started retin a August 2015 and stopped February 2016 because I never saw any improvement just more PIH and more severe acne. My dermatologist isn't the best, he just prescribes me things and doesn't really tells me how it works but he recently recommended I go back on retin a so i did about a week ago. I now realize how incorrectly I was using retin a the first time and I'm hoping because I'm using it correctly this time around it will make a change.
Sep 17 Derm gave me Retin A 0.05 for acne oily prone skin. What can reverse what Retin A gas done to my pores be acne scars? What type of scarring do I have and what pore size do I have? What skincare is most suitable and what treatment will be most effective for my pores and scars? Please help
I have a small indented scar on my face that is year and three months old. I was hit by some type of spider. Also, I'm almost 55 and concerned about aging skin. I did some laser treatments which helped some. Can retinA micro help or hurt? Some people say return A causes scarring? Nervous now after I got my prescription. Thanks for as my advice.
