What is the best treatment for my large congested pores and scarring? (Photos)

Question

I am a 24 yr old. I have been taking 10mg Accutane and Androcur for 6 months (currently tapering off). I still have scarring and large pores which fill easily and bad texture. Out of everything I have researched I am considering starting RetinA for clogged pores and skin tone, and dermaroller for collagen production to "fill in my pores. I am worried that retinA will make my pores appear larger and permanently damage my skin. Will these help? microdermabrasion last year made my skin much worse

Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser.  Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads can seriously improve surface sun damage and UV related pigmentation. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery.

Hi abbeyo1!Please do not to anything to your skin for 6 months after you stop the use of Accutane. Your skin is extremely fragile, sensitive and reactive. There is not a licensed professional that will be willing to treat you until 6 months post Accutane usage. During this time, baby your skin and keep it moisturized. I would have a consultation with a licensed esthetician to come up with a treatment plan once the six months is up. They can also get you started on some great at home products to get your skin healthy! Best of luck!
