A lot of people say that after their restylane injections, they can feel bumps under their skin for a long time. Why does this happen to some people and not others? What causes the bumps, and more importantly, how can I make sure that I don't get them?
Nine years later the Restylane is encapsulated and probably biofilm or possibly Granulomas in my cheeks. I'm concerned that i have delayed allergic hypersensitivity to hyaluronidase during the treatment of granulomatous hyaluronic acid reactions. What can i do to continue the removal of the biofilm/granuloma? Please advise. This has become a nightmare.
Has Restylane, after 2 months left undereye swelling started, increased everyday,after5 days swelling in right eye startd,I start antibiotics after 10 days all swelling gone but left with spreaded lump(like web) on undereye bones.what is it a foreign body granuloma reaction?biofilm?filler lumps? Spreaded lumps r not bothering coz they r not prominent but scared if it happens again& lumps gets bigger.if its biofilm should I continue antibiotics so it wont happen again &fully cured
Disliked from the start, felt overfilled, waited for it to dissolve. 6 mos in had extreme spontaneous swelling. Now 17 mos overfilled look still a problem. Feel palpable masses under skin both sides. I just want all volume to go away. Dr verifies resty was def used. 3 conservative rounds of vitrase helped maybe minimally but not back to baseline. What is causing? Encapsulation/granuloma? Have visitited new dr, no answer.
I had 2 ml Restylane injected into the dermis on my neck on May 19. There have been lumps all over it since then and the skin is itching. Is it easy for s doctor to differentiate if the lumps are granulomas or filler deposits that will reabsorb as time passes by? Do granulomas disappear on their own? Thank you.
I had restylane injected 5 months ago, there is a small lump where the needle went in and several lumps that can be felt from inside my mouth, there is an ridge above my lipline that is bumpy on one side. My new plastic surgeon says the product is gone and it is my own scar tissue and we can reinject juvaderm to even out the irregularities I am afraid to inject anything after this rare response what can I do to restore my lip steroid injections? Will the scar tissue need to be cut out?
