I’ve had my veneers for 3 weeks. I’ve gone in for 3 bite adjustments yet the jaw pain still persists. I’m on muscle relaxers and Motrin 800 per day. My dentist said there are “multiple” contacts. What does that mean? I’m also not happy with the final result. My bottom teeth have a slight slant to one side. I was told it was due to my own teeth having the same slant. Isn’t the purpose of getting veneers to fix that issue? Help please!

Answer: Veneers Hello. If you have multiple contacts the solution is go to your dentist and he will do adjust to correct it because until the doctor don’t do it the pain pass.

Answer: Need Adjustments Multiple “contacts” means your teeth are touching in multiple places, your dentist is referring to where your teeth are hitting and touching when you bite down we call “occlusion”. Your teeth must have a “balanced occlusion” without any interferences. If your bite and jaw is still sore or painful, then you need to go see your dentist to check your bite. If your dentist still can’t help you then you’ll need to go see another dentist. Your slanting is not an issue. They look fine from what I can see. Natural bottom front teeth anatomy the side edges slants up. They don’t go striaght up and down in parallel lines.
