I have pain and sensitivity on a tooth with veneer, was it shaved down too low?

I did veneers on 6 of my lower teeth & after 2 weeks, i was in so much pain, the Dr had to do a root canal on 2 of the teeth, now a month later, i'm feeling the same pain & sensitivity on another tooth, could this be the same problem? could it be the reason i'm having this problem is because he shaved it down too much, i just need whiter teeth to match the top, i did veneers on the top 10 yrs ago with no problems.

Usually prior to having veneers, your veneer dentist will go over the pros and cons, and possible root canal if any. Root canal can be due to severe mal alignment of teeth to make them straight, or possibly due to bond failure and bacterial leakage. We need to see you and examine you prior to finding out, what is the exact reason for the endodontic therapy.
