After a mishap with a facial succion cup I got a bruise on the corner of my mouth. Soon a vein popped up in its place. The past few years it keeps getting worse (laughing, pulling wisdom teeth etc) and it has now started to bulge. A dr. at a laser clinic took a look for 1/2 a sec and said removing it might lead to necrosis. Is there nothing I can do? Yag or phlebectomy? I am desperate. It keeps getting bigger. I'll do anything. It's just the part on corner of mouth that bothers me.
I am not sure which treatment to file this under. I have this huge vein on the left side of my neck. I have really started noticing it more in the last 6 months. Is it an issue that can be treated cosmetically, is it something that might be more of a medical issue, or none of the above? I am 34f, 58 and 112 lbs with no known medical conditions. I take 10 mg of adderall daily for adhd.
I will 37 in November and have blue veins under my eyes (leading up temples) that seem to be getting worse and notice them bulging at times. They affect my confidence and remember being asked as a child if i have black eyes. My 4 year old son has them too. I have spent a fortune on concealer and make up. I live on a budget but would prefer to save as long as i need to for a treatment that gives a permanent solution. Your experience and suggestions really would be greatly appreciated
Hi, im 33, f, and I have ugly bulging veins.. this was never like this before but the sedentary lifestyle in the pasf 2 years aggravated my veins and im starting to feel some pain and discomfort. Photo for reference What surgical treatment can help me? Thanks a lot
Hi, I'm at 36 year old female. I've had this vein on my upper eyelid since childhood; it has become much more noticeable over the years and has become quite bothersome (cosmetically). Would microphlebectomy be a suitable option for this? Thank you in advance for your time!
My vein was blown from IV infiltration a few months ago, which resulted in it bulging and ongoing phlebitis. Then more recently I had lab work done and the vein yielded poor return, however it is bruised and not as prominent ( Im wondering if it collapsed?) anyway, this antecubital fossa vein has caused me enough torment that I just want it removed altogether. Is it possible and if so, how?
