Can my antecubital fossa vein be removed? (photos)

My vein was blown from IV infiltration a few months ago, which resulted in it bulging and ongoing phlebitis. Then more recently I had lab work done and the vein yielded poor return, however it is bruised and not as prominent ( I’m wondering if it collapsed?) anyway, this antecubital fossa vein has caused me enough torment that I just want it removed altogether. Is it possible and if so, how?
