Hello, I have a question. Can a raised mole be peeled off easily because when I scratched my skin, I felt a raised small area peeled off. It could be a scab but this leads to my question. Can a raised mole be peeled off my just scratching skin or does it need alot of actual force?
My concerns about my mole is that I noticed its a very sensitive on one side (see the pic.) if I press its hurts more. But if I dont touch I still feel something is hurting - light pain on that side/area. Its not even comfortable to sleep on that side (left) feels like something is pressing on something. And also when I sit down. Pain comes and goes. Probably the way I sit/lay or something. My mole is under my breast. Sometimes I put plaster on it so my bra cant scratch the mole off.
I woke up one morning to find that I maybe have scratched my mole and maybe irritated it a bit. But over the past few days, I have noticed it has been very red, crusty, and a burning sensation every time something rubs across it or touches it. I have looked up everything and worried myself because of some of the things that have popped up and could possibly be the outcome.
mole developed R wrist Oct 2011, no growth but darkened while pregnant I dermatologist saw Nov 2013 and another in March 2014, said it looked fine under dermatoscope. My problem is I squeezed and picked it off leaving a scar. Now I am scared that it was a melanoma and it is deep under scar tissue. No dark pigment in the scar just pink. Can a melanoma be scratched, rubbed, picked off. wouldn't it have grown or changed significantly in 2 plus years? I'm so worried. I am 34 and a mom of 2 precious babies.
