What is more effective: 5 sessions of microneedling or 1 session of CO2RE laser to treat static wrinkles, fine lines and large pores? And also to improve the complexion in general, tighten the skin up a bit and create a more youthful look? I'm 35 years old and have some fine lines, few static wrinkles and my pores are very large and I have few small acne scars.
I am 60 years old and my pores are really showing. I had two deep peels done in 2017 which did improve my skin somewhat but I have alot of work to do yet. Is microneedling safe for older skin? It took me longer to recover from my peels than I had anticipated.
I usually do vi peel and they are great! But I have large pores, acne scars, and orange peel skin (lots of fine tiny bumps) and I think microneedling with PRP would help, but I also have a lot of sun damage and a bit of a tan and even a bruise or two or hyperpigmentation from a too strong peel that hasn't faded in over three years, so are there things we can do to improve how microneedling lightens any discolorations ? thanks for any replies
I have permanently opened pores and bunches up lines on cheeks since childhood. Possibly Atrophoderma Vermiculatum? I've always had huge pores, I have (Ehlers Danlos) so maybe thats why. My right cheek has huge open pores and weird bunched up horizontal lines that look like tiny wrinkles. My left cheek has the same but I did get acne there in my 20's that turned into ice pick scars. I was wondering if this looks like Atrophoderma vermiculatum? Anything that may help make the pores look not so prominent, maybe Accutane? I tried topical tretinoin and it didn't help. Could I do TCA Cross for the icepick scars?
I took accutane for acne last year for 6 months. My skin is the clearest it has been in years. But now I have those huge pores. I have done microneedling sessions, about 4 now, with minimal results. I have very sensitive skin, so I would like to know if I should keep doind microneedling or I should do laser treatments now. TIA
I have extremely large pores as a result of very oil skin. Will microneedling be able to significantly reduce the size of my pores and give me porcelain smooth skin? What are the possible side effects of this procedure? What is the worst thing that can happen to my skin if this procedure were to go wrong? How many treatments would I need to undergo in order to see tangible results? Is the procedure worth it?
I treated my active acne with tretinoin 0.5%, but I'm left with these scars. I don't have any active acne at the moment and no blackheads. The scars improved a bit with the use of tretinoin, but they don't soften any further. I'd like to know if a TCA cross peel or microneedling is suitable for my type of scars. As I'm a first time TCA user I'd like to ask what percentage TCA best for this method on my scars? I won't be going for a full TCA-peel. Or will microneedling be better? What length?
Im looking at PRP microneedling or laser. Which is more effective? I am not currently pregnant but will start trying for a baby soon, what products / treatments can I continue when pregnant? Are there any new revolutionary treatments in the pipeline to help permanently shrink pores?
