I got this issues after steroid cream that was prescribed for my dermatitis on my head after 10 days use. The issue is still here 2 years later. Doctors assumed perioral dermatitis and then seborrheic Treated with : protopic, skinoren, antibiotics for 2 months, retinoid - no results at all Only ducray kelial ds cream + bioderm ds gel slightly made it better Would laser like Cutera be a good idea? Or maybe microdermabrasion? or anything else? I want redness and those small bumps with white on them gone.
I used a microdermabrasion product last night, and then later, a facial depilatory cream. When I went to sleep, my face was fine. I woke up with redness and blotches. It doesn't hurt at all; it just feels warm. I tried putting calming moisturizer and it stung a little, so I've just been using very cold washcloths instead. I'll be in a wedding tomorrow. How can I reduce the redness quickly without making things worse? Aloe? Vaseline? Hydrocortisone cream? Neosporin? Is it safe to wear makeup over the burn?
Recently my skin has been breaking out horribly and leaving awful scars/marks, redness, and a weird bumpy texture. I saw my dermatologist/esthetician and was recommended microdermabrasion and a facial... hundreds of dollars later. Before I spend the money, is it worth it? Ive heard mixed things and I dont want to do something like microderm where I have to come back every few weeks and spend hundreds to see any results. Any cheaper options such as facials for my skin? Thanks!!
I got an acne facial that included a microdermabrasion. I felt the suction was a big high but I trusted my esthetician knew what she was doing. My skin is now red, hypopigmented, flushes easily, and has slight broken capillaries on my cheek? The discoloration in the different areas of my face, especially in comparison to my neck is jarring. I've been using gentle face washes, serums, and moisturizers, but I fear the damage is permanent. Is there anything I can do to make it better?
I use trentonin. I just switched to curology; .035 tretinon, 5% Azelaic acid, 4% niacinamide. My skin was looking good (for me). I made an appt for a hydra facial this morning and stopped using actives for 3 nights. She said I had a lot of dead skin and did a microdermabrasion and pumpkin enzyme peel. My face is so red and splotchy and I think Im getting blisters. Aquaphor is only thing that doesnt hurt. Will silver healing serum help? Is this normal? What can I do to bring down the red inflamed skin?
After my third microdermabrasion session I have began getting very dry flaky skin peeling especially around the chin area, this includes redness, tight face blemishes and itchy skin. I did not have this problem after my first and second session as my skin always felt smooth after. It has been a week now and my skin is still feeling very sensitive. Is this normal? And how long usually will this affect go down? Are there any creams or remedies I can use to speed up the recovery?
I had microdermabrasion for the first time by an esthetician. It was very painful during the neck portion of the treatment. I now have bruising, extreme redness, and chin acne (didnt have any acne going into the appointment). Im concerned about permanent damage (broken capillaries and/or blood vessels) on my neck and face. Is this normal? How long until Im healed? What products can I use to heal faster? This was totally unexpected and no warnings were given about this prior to treatment.
I've recently had a microdermabrasion and it left me with a brown patch, i went straight to the doctor and she prescribed me a hydrocortisone cream. Do you think this will scar? I'm really worried.. the redness has gone down and it seems to be fading.
I had a Microdermabrasion (Diamondtome) treatment yesterday, and the woman who performed it was really rough. Today, my skin is red and kind of puffy. I have had several treatments before and this has never happened. Now I'm concerned about the possibility of underlying damage to my skin. Should I be concerned?
