I have a 10.7 cm b-width. 5'1, 106 lb. Have breastfed. Age is approx. 40y. Starting as AA cup. Would like to be near a small C, with a natural appearance and feel. My favorite sizer was a 265cc Allergen (15?). But for texture ...Mentor was recommended. Thanks!
Dear doc's, my surgery is schedule for 23 January. My doctor recommended mentor siltex to me because I have some sagging yet do not want a lift. The siltex should give me the structure and appearance of a lift that I am looking for. From your experience do mentor textured implants cause discomfort for patients vs smooth implants? I imagine the Velcro effect to feel awkward inside my body. Or is that just my imagination? Is there a difference in terms of comfort?
I am 6 months post op, after 8 weeks of being post op I have noticed that the incisions have moved upward. They arent moving any further up, as I am 6 months post op and both incisions have stayed in this position since I noticed it, therefore should I be concerned that my implants settled too low? I have 535cc UHP textured mentor implants. Also, my right breast incision is more further up than my left, but it has been like this for a couple of months and it has not moved any further.
Hello! I'm researching implants and came across cohesive gel implants (Mentor). I am getting a bit confused with all the different terminology (i.e gummy bear, cohesive, textured,etc.). Is the Mentor cohesive gel/ Mentor memory gel a textured implant, or is it offered both as a smooth or textured implant depending on preference?
Hi, I had breast augmentation 9 days ago. I had 300cc mentor moderate plus round textured implants over muscle. I feel my breasts are too low down my body. The distance between my armpit and where the breast starts. Im worried when they drop they will look even lower. They are also massive. My surgeon promised they would look natural and they look nothing like what I had in my head.
I am 10 weeks post op. I have textured mentor round high profile implants 350cc in each. In a SUBGLANDULAR position. When I lie flat my implants slide off my chest mostly. One of my implants is already settling further round toward my armpit which gives the vision of one being smaller than the other. Before they settled With the drop and fluff I had a perfect cleavage. Not too close and not too far apart, since they have changed and lost a lot of size and fullness. Whats happening?
Hi. So I'm 17 days post-op. I have 350 moderate plus mentor silicone textured round implants placed in a dual plane position. I'm just wondering what the likelihood of these implants softening further to be able to manipulate them together in a bra is? I had widely spaced breasts and was very flat chested before. I've been measured at a 32DD now.
I am skinny with very small boob. I want to breast augmentation in this year then try to visited 2 doctor to get discussion. Both of them suggestion is under muscle Mentor round implant. However 1 was smooth and 1 was texture Siltex. From my own study for this selective ,smooth is more natural while texture is more keep in position. If I decide smooth ,how much mal-position occurrence and long-term position compare to texture? Thank in advance.
I want to have 1st time breast augmentation to up my size. I have discuss with 2 doctor then both of them suggest round implant under muscle (Mentor). However 1 is suggest smooth and 1 is suggest textured Siltex. How I choose these two type of surface. From my study smooth is more natural look and feeling ,texture is more keep in place. Is smooth is more move from their position in long-term? How much higher risk of malposition compare to texture in case of under muscle. Thank in advance.
