I had lipo to my trunk area and fat transfer. No smoking one week prior. I'm 7 days Post op. Day 5 & 6 I had 4 total cigarettes. After reading on the damages smoking can cause after lipo, I will not smoke again. My doctor told me to stop smoking about 2 weeks prior and about 3-4 week post. I agreed but never took it seriously until now. I know I done some damage already. My question: Is it to late for my blood vessels? Can the damage be undone? Can I still have successful results?
I've had liposuction to the arms. I was awake during surgery and I am not on antibiotics or painkillers, just tylenol. I'm a smoker. And I smoked a cigarette right after my procedure. I'm currently one day post op. Will smoking reverse the results of the liposuction, or? And when is it okay to consume alcohol post liposuction given that I am not on medication?
I'm 30 years old male and I have nearly 20-30 lipomas. Going to remove all those with liposuction. My question is, I'm a pack a day smoker and 18hrs before surgery only I stopped smoking. Will the anesthetic face any problem with me? Do I need to cancel the surgery? please help!
