I am looking to undergo a Laser Lift with Precision Tx, which involves liposuction and laser treatment to tighten skin in my submental area. I began thinking recently about the risks of liposuction in such a delicate area. I was wondering if it is possible for the cannula to puncture areas inside the neck such as lymph nodes or my voice box? I am undergoing laser tattoo removal, so I often have swollen lymph nodes. Thank you!
My mom had large upper arms and she didn't seem to mind them but I inherited them and have a hard time fitting jackets or dresses with sleeves. I do exercise my arms and the biceps are tight but even with triceps exercises, they remain floppy.
I had thigh lipo 10 days ago, my left leg is stiffer than right and I feel hard knots under the skin, and huge swollen lump (probably lymp-node) in inner bottom buttcheek/groin area. My doctor is on vacation, so he is not available to speak with, and I don't think his P.A. knows for sure if a lymphatic massage will prevent the area from having permanent bumps. Does massage just help one heal faster, or does it actually improve the final result by making smooth contouring? Is it just a gimmick?
I had liposuction on 3/1 to my chin, arms, and upper back and now lymph nodes on my neck and armpit are swollen, but only on my left side. My PS said its normal and the body is just trying to healthy but I feel that its not going down at all. Im very concerned. Has anyone else had any experience with this?
i am getting liposuction including the fupa area. I have found a doctor for the procedure that i love. However, he is unwilling to go low and get the fat surrounding my penis and scrotum. He states, this is due to the lymph-nodes located in this area. What i want will not look right if this part is skipped. My question is, is this a common idea shared by most plastic surgeons, or do i stand a chance of finding someone who will sculpt the way i want. Thank you!!
I am not supposed to have my blood drawn or blood pressure taken on that arm because of increased risk of lymphedema. But a doctor wants to liposuction my axillary area instead which is close to where my nodes were taken. Will arm or axillary liposuction increase my risk for lymphedema? Thank you.
I have asked several surgeons - in order obtain fat, they normally do not perform lipo at underarm area. I was told there are nerves and lymph systems (breast implant), i guess it is difficult to remove the fat there.
In my previous questions I had regarding surgery while taking herceptin. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had surgery in September 2016. I had a needle localized right breast lumpectomy and a right axillary lymph node dissection. I've had no lymphedema or swelling since the surgery, however, I want to know if it's factual that I cannot have lipo done to my arm due to the surgery. And if so, is that a lifetime sentence or after a certain period of time...
