I had ultrasound liposuction on my abdomen just 6 months ago, and there are some areas under my skin that are still protruding. It doesn't feel like fat, and it has definitely shrunk after some compression and 2-3 lymphatic massages. However, it's still there and I'm not sure how to get rid of it. It feels more like a solid mass than fat, and I'm not sure how to get rid of it. The first 2 pics are before lipo, next 2 right after lipo, last 2 are today.
I had a tummy tuck with muscle repair 6 months ago and have noticed in the last 3 months or so that my abdomen is hard right above my incision and my lower abdomen is not flat as i want it to be. I was expecting a much flatter abdomen than what i have. I also have fat right below my breasts and it bothers me. I had my 6 month post op and my surgeon told me my lower abdomen is my muscle that is hard. He recommended i get lipo on the lower ab where its hard and my upper abs as well.
7 months ago I had vaser liposuction, but I still have some hardness and swelling. I had my final follow up with my surgeon recently who told me nonchalantly that the hardness is fibrosis without doing an ultrasound. 4 months ago he told me me that the hardness is induration after doing an ultrasound. I have no faith in my surgeon since if I have fibrosis he didn't take it seriously or give me any advice, so how can I tell what this hardness is?
I had fat harvested from my stomach and moved to my breasts. After the surgery I developed hard dents and ridges across my stomach, especially where my stomach folds when I sit. It's been 3 months now and nothing has changed even when I massage it constantly, worried it's permanent tissue damage. These aren't fat lumps or irregularities after liposuction, they are rock hard and painful (ripping sensation) when I stretch the skin at all. I'm so scared this is permanent- how can it be fixed?
My lipo seemed to heal well at first but now its leaving me with irregularities.flanks appear hard, too; the back seems more fat than before(swelling?)My arms I can see where Lipo was performed but arms still look the same.Overall Im not happy with my appearance. (My doc suggested a revision after 4-5 months at 3months for Vaser only; but I want a second opinion; Why has this happened? Can I still get the results I was hoping for?I am anxious having to go though it again ®ret the operation:(
Im 5 weeks post op from lipo. I have this soft spot on my stomach that doesnt go away no matter how much I compress. Could it be left over fat? I also have a spot (is circled)on the skin that looks irregular (arrow)and hard could it be fibrosis? I get massages and self massage in between. And I also have a knot on my stomach. Not to hard and not soft. It came when my compression was uneven but know it wont seem to go away no matter what I do. Is there something I can do for this?
After liposuction, there are hardnesses on body. I heard that warm water bottle massage on the hardness or liposuction areas makes them soft because this type of massage melt fat so the hardness will be soften by the warm water bottle massage. Would you recommend if warm water bottle massage is good or bad to do?
I am one week post op after liposuction to my hips, outer and inner thighs. My bruising today is getting worse and my thighs are more swollen then ever. My main concern is that the bruising/swelling on my inner thighs is hard to the touch, it almost feels like a tensed muscle. It is also still very tender. Is this normal or could it need draining? I'm also worried about it turning into scar tissue and staying this size!
I have had my surgery almost 9 weeks. Wrinkles started to appear directly after the operation( they promised it will disappear) . lumps in both sides along with tummy feels so hard most days. I have been asked to remove my compression garment after two month! What can I do? I also feel no result in my inner upper part of my thighs
I had lipo of abdominal area and waist on January 4, 2014. I am 5'7 and weigh 150. I have worn the CG 24/7 until about a week ago. I had a series of six lymphatic massages, have been walking or swimming daily for an hour for last six weeks. Until a week ago I did self messages daily. My abdominal area is still HARD; therefore it is not flat. I had 2,000 cc removed during procedure. Waist looks great. WILL the abdominal area ever soften or hard as a rock here to stay?
