Hi guys! I have a lipoma on my right temple area. Noticed it a couple years ago. I have seen a doctor and got it examined, but decided not to have surgery at the time because the doctor said it can cause damage to my facial nerve. I believe its growing in size and Im now feeling pressure in my right ear. I will be making another appointment tomorrow just to see if theres other options that wont lead to nerve damage. Does anyone have any expert with this or can give any suggestions?
I have a small lipoma or benign cyst just below my right temple, for 18 years. It has grown extremely gradually. Started half the size it is now; less than an inch, never tender, no change to skin tone. It's on the jaw joint. Numerous doctors have examined it, all said it is harmless, nothing needed to be done. A few doctors advised against surgical removal (possible nerve damage). It bothers me only cosmetically. When I chew, it pops out, since the jaw is moving. Risks to surgical removal?
I might have a lipoma on my temple. I am getting an MRI. The doctor said I should have a plastic surgeon remove it. I want to make sure there is no dent or strange shape after its removed. If its an experienced plastic surgeon will my temple look the same?
