I have a large number of painful lipomas (the lipomas are likely related to my diagnosis of MEN1) in my upper and lower abdomen and at the base of my rib cage. The surgeon I've seen suggested a panniculectomy, which would not take care of the lipomas higher up. She knows insurance won't pay for anything more than that but I want to know what would take care of it ALL. This causes me a lot of pain and infections. What surgeries would get rid of all three tiers, the lipomas and excess skin?
I have lipomas in both my feet (same area) that cause severe pain when standing or walking for extended periods. My podiatrist is leaving his practice. Gave me MRI results today. He told me to research this issue and talk to the next guy. I cant seem to find a lot of information on this specific issue. I have tried orthodics for ~10mon with limited releif. Other treatment options? Surgery process and risks? Resources? Possible causes? Recurrance rates?
I have a painful, soft lump in my sacral area.. Ultrasound shows 4.6 x 4 x .12 cm in size, slightly hypo-echoic subQ mass. Heat, pressure, and exercises that require glute extension all hurt. Have had it dry needled w anesthetic twice, which makes all the pain go away for 2-3 weeks. Was advised it likely needs removal. Was handed to a general surgery PA who said it couldnt be a problem and to deal w it. What type of Dr should I be seeing?

Im a 20 year old female. Ive had a dime sized lipoma on my left leg below my inguinal area on my upper thigh since I was 13. Never caused me any problems until recently when I woke up with it tender and swollen. Over 3 days it became painful, red, and the size of a 50 cent piece. Dermatologist diagnosed it as an angiolipoma and injected it with steroids to help with the pain and inflammation. I would like to have it removed, should I have the dermatologist remove it or go to another surgeon?
My worry now is if at all it has spread that far will surgery be still possible to remove this growth since it's becoming painful when I sit on the couch and I lean back to relax or when I spent more time studying
I had a pilonidal cyst back in 2018, that first showed 2 weeks before my period. It progressed so quickly, the next week i had to have it drained. After a month of dressing the wound it healed. A year and some change later, i returned to the doctors because the site would swell and become painful to the point that Id have to lay on my stomach. The determined that a lipoma had formed and removed it. within 2 weeks the scar healed. Now in 2022, it is extremely swollen and red. What can this be?
