Hello I was wondering if LED light therapy the type you use at home specifically OMNILUX mask can cause a dermoidal cyst to enlarge. I recently developed one 6 months ago. I just started using LED mask daily for 10 minutes. My cyst is on my brow bone below my eyebrow. The cyst seems more prominent since using LED daily for 3 weeks. I do plan on having cyst removed. I'm going for consultations Hoping I can have it removed with an addition procedure of a upper Bleph. I'm 56 with hooding.
I use hormone replacement therapy compounded in a cream. I have read hrt users may get dark spots may worsen with red light therapy. I have been using a red light therapy bed to lighten dark spots on my legs and arms. I think more dark spots are emerging. Can this be caused by the red light therapy?
Hello, I have a mild persistent erythema and some facial flushing. I am going to start a LED Blue Light Therapy (not for the purpose of treating my flushing!), but first I would like to be sure that it won't worsen my flushing. I heard that UV and heat of the sun can worsen it: is blue light concerned too?
I just had Elos Plus treatment on my face for brown spots that I got from my last pregnancy. I want to try getting red light theraphy done on my face for the building of collagen. I wear sunscreen everyday and avoid the sun. I am using the correct products on my face (from my dermatologist) to control my hyperpigmentation on my face.
I have been a happy LED light user. It seems it has been a massive help for skin tone and acne. However I have same time experienced facial fat loss. Having tought it was just coincidence I now reat article other LED users has exprienced same too. I also noticed that LIPO-LIGHT wich is used for fat removal is same wavelenght. So is it possible red led cause fat lose and if yes, is it permanent? What is the difference between LIPO-LIGHT and LED?
I have had two LED skin treatments. Damp cotton pads and goggles are placed over my eyes during the LED treatment, but the strobe lights are so bright that is is uncomfortable. I have some concern about my eyes. Are there any reports of eye damage from the light?
Ive been dealing with persistent redness on my cheeks for over a month. Ive been using red light therapy for months without any issues, and since red light doesnt contain UV rays, I believe we can rule out sun damage as a cause. Since the redness has lasted longer than Id expected, Ive started using a niacinamide serum to calm redness and possibly restore my damaged skin barrier, but there hasnt been any noticeable improvement. Could this redness be linked to a bacterial issue?
