Hello, I was wondering about this new device that uses both red light therapy and heat. The device apparently heats the skin up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Could that temperature potentially melt fat the way that radiofrequency can melt fat. Apparently heat can do that but not sure what temperature. Would not want to melt my facial fat of course so I would stop using if so.
I have a little scar on my forehead from a curling iron burn that's somewhat hypo-pigmented and I've heard that red light therapy can help the many skin benefits so I'm interested to maybe try it for my scar cause there's not really any risk, unless there's something else I could do that is better for regimenting and results.
My nurse has a Triolgy treatment that is 4 sessions. Radio Frequency, electrical muscle stimulation and LED red light therapy. Can it harm my filler or melt my fat away??? Is it worth it? I dont want to keep doing fillers and change my face. She states that it will help with my skin texture and stimulate collagen. Please advise
I (20M) have been taking accutane since I suddenly had an acne breakout. I found out about LED face masks and found out that blue light is good for acne while red is good for hyperpigmentation. However, I see that some masks have green, purple, and even all seven colors of the rainbow. Are those other colors actually helpful or are they a gimmick used by mask producers?
Hi , I am interested in using LED therapy and other lasers on my skin. However, I have 17 screws in my right hand due to a car accident, and screws in both shoulders. I also have a small ring in my left tragus. I am wondering if this will be a problem if I purchase masks or a wand, or if I go to a dermatologist. Thank you.
The title pretty much says it all. Im wanting to know if an infrared sauna will cause hyperpigmentation to skin that is recently healed. I ask because common practice is to keep scars away from sunlight for at least one year. I understand that infrared isnt the same as UV. Nevertheless, I would like to know if the risk exists.
Hello I was wondering if LED light therapy the type you use at home specifically OMNILUX mask can cause a dermoidal cyst to enlarge. I recently developed one 6 months ago. I just started using LED mask daily for 10 minutes. My cyst is on my brow bone below my eyebrow. The cyst seems more prominent since using LED daily for 3 weeks. I do plan on having cyst removed. I'm going for consultations Hoping I can have it removed with an addition procedure of a upper Bleph. I'm 56 with hooding.
I have an expensive, powerful infrared light device and I will be buying an equally powerful red light device that I want to use daily. I am getting a fat transfer to the face and I am worried that the powerful infrared lights will cause the fat transfer to metabolize as there have been studied showing infrared lights help get rid of stubborn fat. Thank your help!
I use hormone replacement therapy compounded in a cream. I have read hrt users may get dark spots may worsen with red light therapy. I have been using a red light therapy bed to lighten dark spots on my legs and arms. I think more dark spots are emerging. Can this be caused by the red light therapy?
