I’ve been dealing with persistent redness on my cheeks for over a month. I’ve been using red light therapy for months without any issues, and since red light doesn’t contain UV rays, I believe we can rule out sun damage as a cause. Since the redness has lasted longer than I’d expected, I’ve started using a niacinamide serum to calm redness and possibly restore my damaged skin barrier, but there hasn’t been any noticeable improvement. Could this redness be linked to a bacterial issue?
