Can I use Light Therapy with Titanium Screws in Hands and Shoulders?

Hi , I am interested in using LED therapy and other lasers on my skin. However, I have 17 screws in my right hand due to a car accident, and screws in both shoulders. I also have a small ring in my left tragus. I am wondering if this will be a problem if I purchase masks or a wand, or if I go to a dermatologist. Thank you.

LED light therapy would not affect your internal hardware. As for jewelry, a large piece might heat up a bit but not enough to burn the skin. The bigger thing to understand here is that there are a TON of LED devices on the market that are a complete waste of time. They have cheap LED chips that degrade quickly, or not enough power even right out of the gate. Many of them don't even produce the wavelengths shown in the studies to be effective. The FlexMD by Dermalux is the best currently on the market based on my research. For an "in office" regimen consider finding someone who had the TriWave MD, also by Dermalux.
