The title pretty much says it all. I’m wanting to know if an infrared sauna will cause hyperpigmentation to skin that is recently healed. I ask because common practice is to keep scars away from sunlight for at least one year. I understand that infrared isn’t the same as UV. Nevertheless, I would like to know if the risk exists.
