Could Solawave Wand red light therapy & heat melt fat?

Question

Hello, I was wondering about this new device that uses both red light therapy and heat. The device apparently heats the skin up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Could that temperature potentially melt fat the way that radiofrequency can melt fat. Apparently heat can do that but not sure what temperature. Would not want to melt my facial fat of course so I would stop using if so.

The Solo wave wand is designed to improve the appearance of the skin. It can offer many great benefits to improve skin tone and texture, but it is not intended for reducing fat.

Radio Frequency is the best form of melting fat, whereas the Solwave is tightening the skin with the temperature. Radio Frequency is working on a deeper level with the dermis whereas the heat from the Solwave is focusing on the top layer of skin to tighten.

The red light is absorbed in the skin and it increases blood flow , it may reduce the retention of Hyaluronic acid but it is unlikely that it will affect fat

Hello! Heat therapy is highly unlikely to melt fat. Heat therapy alone is meant to help increase blood flow, provide temporary relief for muscle pain, and relax the muscles. It can not cause significant or permanent fat reduction the way Radiofrequency can, for RF uses intensely controlled heating of deep tissue to tighten the skin.
